AYDEN'S UPDATES

Ayden's family wanted to keep a blog for family members and friends to be able to have the latest status of his progression at the hospital. On August 1st, the family was out in the yard and soon noticed Ayden was missing and was discovered by Aubrey in the above ground pool. Caryn pulled him out and was able to resuscitate him thru CPR and he had a pulse and was breathing as the medics took him away in the ambulance to the hospital. He is currently at St. Lukes downtown Boise. We will try to update on a daily basis or as something significant happens. We also are so very thankful to everyone for your love, prayers, fasting and all the support you have given to the Rich family and extended family at this time.

Ayden gets to continue his recovery at home! YAY!

The words we have been waiting to hear! He gets to go home tomorrow morning sometime! He will still be on some Antibiotics and some other medication. He seems to be his normal self again, his legs are still a little stiff when he walks, but his walking and even sometimes running are getting better everyday! He seems to get tired faster than normal, which could be the result of the medication he is still on. He gets so excited when we ask him if he wants to go home and see Scooter and all the other things he has been missing from home! It will be good for him and his family to get back into the normal routine! He has enjoyed his stay at the hospital and hasn't complained once about it and has really been warming up to all of the nurses (more recently at least) :). We will miss them and are full of graditude and thanks for all the hard work and dedication they provided in Ayden's behalf. What a blessing it is to be able to have him home on the road to a full recovery.
We have truly witnessed a miracle!
He will still have a few followups from some of the Dr's after he has been home for a while for some outpatient services.
We have enjoyed hearing from all of you who have been following this blog and are still so amazed at the love, the concern and support he has received over the last 3 + weeks! We will continue to update about his transition to being back home.
Thanks again everyone for your thoughts and prayers and fasting. We are so thankful for the blessings and miracles that come from the power of prayer and through Priesthood blessings.
We are all truly blessed.
