AYDEN'S UPDATES

Ayden's family wanted to keep a blog for family members and friends to be able to have the latest status of his progression at the hospital. On August 1st, the family was out in the yard and soon noticed Ayden was missing and was discovered by Aubrey in the above ground pool. Caryn pulled him out and was able to resuscitate him thru CPR and he had a pulse and was breathing as the medics took him away in the ambulance to the hospital. He is currently at St. Lukes downtown Boise. We will try to update on a daily basis or as something significant happens. We also are so very thankful to everyone for your love, prayers, fasting and all the support you have given to the Rich family and extended family at this time.

Ayden got some "Macamoni" last night, and.. another very special surprise

numm, nummnumma, nummm...
Ayden kept asking for it... so we asked the nurse and she ordered for him! We figured he'd be full and want to stop after a few bites... but he ate the whole bowl! The nurse told us this morning that she ordered another bowl as back up and its in the fridge! He loved it!

The nurse stopped the tube feeding after calling the Dr to make sure it was ok, he still has the feeding tube in his nose just in case but hopefully it can just be removed before he rips it out again!

Can you look closely at the computer? its Grandpa and Grandma Warth!!! Ayden got to talk to them and see them on video talk! thank goodness for web cams! What a highlight to our night. Grandpa and Grandma Warth were beyond thrilled and we are pretty sure they have a perma-grin right now telling all their mission buddies about it!
