AYDEN'S UPDATES

Ayden's family wanted to keep a blog for family members and friends to be able to have the latest status of his progression at the hospital. On August 1st, the family was out in the yard and soon noticed Ayden was missing and was discovered by Aubrey in the above ground pool. Caryn pulled him out and was able to resuscitate him thru CPR and he had a pulse and was breathing as the medics took him away in the ambulance to the hospital. He is currently at St. Lukes downtown Boise. We will try to update on a daily basis or as something significant happens. We also are so very thankful to everyone for your love, prayers, fasting and all the support you have given to the Rich family and extended family at this time.

Monday morningish

The x-rays of Aydens lungs showed a little improvement which is the first time in a few days we have heard this kind of news. His lungs still are still pretty sick and over the next two days they are growing a culture to see if there might be another bacteria in his lungs that would respond to a different antibiotic. Those results should be ready sometime tomorrow. The doctor feels like things are moving in the right direction for Ayden and is predicting a much better week. Ayden is still intubated and heavily sedated and on an as needed paralytic, so for the past few days there has not been any sort of response from him. They just have to be very cautious of is movement because of still being intubated.

Because things have been so quiet lately, we thought we would put on a few videos of Ayden that bring lots of laughs. Enjoy!
